Office Hours is an artist-run project founded in New York City in 2020.

We facilitate knowledge sharing among artists, designers, storytellers and cultural workers who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). Thousands of people representing the global majority have participated in Office Hours’ 40+ events from over 30 territories and countries to reconfigure cultural practices into inclusive systems for collective liberation.

Public Service

Public Service is our new spin-off webzine launched in 2023. Inspired by Stuart Hall’s call to redirect media towards “the public service idea” to address diverse publics, Public Service retools the Internet as a space to foreground BIPOC artists, designers, and storytellers. Each episode features conversations highlighting strategies and practices to catalyze a radical change in the culture industries–and beyond.
